Types of office space available at Dtec:

Hot desk: A hot desk is the traditional coworking desk. You don’t have an assigned space and sit anywhere within the coworking area with your laptop and mobile.  You will be eligible to 2 visas within this option.

Dedicated (fixed) desk: A dedicated desk provides you with your own space where you can have a landline and a drawer unit for storage. In this option you will be eligible for 3 visas.

Hot desk and Dedicated desk options give you full access to Dtec’s facilities and events.

Small (private) office: It is a private office inside Dtec with own office. Visa allocation is based on the space taken.

All the visas issued by Dtec are renewable after 3 years.

Cost of buying space in Dtec:  

  • Hot desk costs AED 18,000 per annum
  • Flexi desk costs AED 24,200 per annum
  • Small office or private office costs between AED 47,820 to AED 62,500 depending on whether one chooses a furnished or unfurnished office space

Cancellation of license in Dtec?

  • It is mandatory for all hot desk members to use their desk for at least 36 hours per month.  If this requirement is not met, DSOA has the right to cancel the license and lease.
  • Dtec is a hub for startups so you can remain in the premises for up to 5 years as Dtec acts as an incubation centre, startups are expected to take flight with the help of the environment or take call about their future course of action based on how the ideas flower.
